A stylish antique Victorian cluster ring crowned with a cushion cut blue sapphire in the centre weighing approx. 0.15ct, complemented by a halo of eight bright old mine cut diamonds that have excellent SI1 clarity – H colour and total approx. 0.80ct.
Sapphire is the birthstone of September. The blue variety is considered a stone of truth, wisdom and protection and has long been a favourite of kings and royalty, adored for its royal blue colouring which was considered a reflection of the sky and the heavens, making it divine.
The stones are all claw set in a pierced 15ct gold gallery with a fine gold band at the back. It would make a gorgeous engagement ring and is in excellent condition.
