Product Details
A gorgeous antique Victorian sapphire diamond daisy cluster ring, crowned with a deep, electric-blue sapphire in the centre, weighing approx. 0.25ct, complemented by a halo of eight glittering old mine cut diamond petals that have excellent SI 1/2 clarity – H colour, approx. 0.60ct total.
Sapphire is the birthstone of September. The blue variety is considered a stone of truth, wisdom and protection and has long been a favourite of kings and royalty, adored for its royal blue colouring which was considered a reflection of the sky and the heavens, making it divine.
The piece is modelled in 18ct gold with open, scrolled motifs on the shoulders and bears Chester hallmarks within the band, along with an old inscription that reads “CF from Mamma, 1883”, suggesting it was once gifted from mother to daughter.
It would make a stunning antique engagement ring, displaying a beautiful cluster of precious gems on top.
We recommend you insure for £3,000. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
