Product Details
A striking antique Victorian sapphire diamond cluster ring, featuring a large, navette gallery set with a deep-blue cushion cut sapphire at its heart, surrounded by fourteen glittering old mine cut diamonds. The sapphire weighs approx. 1ct and the diamonds have superb SI1 clarity – H colour and total approx. 1.2ct.
Sapphire is the birthstone of September. The blue variety is considered a stone of truth, wisdom and protection and has long been a favourite of kings and royalty, adored for its royal blue colouring which was considered a reflection of the sky and the heavens, making it divine.
The piece is modelled in 18ct yellow gold and has a lovely patina and open engraving down the shoulders, with scrolling motifs forming a heart on either side. It’s a stunning Victorian statement ring, showcasing a gorgeous collection of natural gemstones that contrast and complement each other perfectly.
We recommend you insure for £4,300. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
