A remarkable Antique Victorian Scorpion brooch set with five gorgeous natural blue Sapphires which total to approx. 2.50ct and nine sparkling White Sapphires which total around 1.50ct.
Bug and Insect jewellery was once considered a symbol of good luck to the wearer during the Victorian era.
The piece is beautifully crafted in 9ct Rose Gold with lovely curved legs, large solid claws and a curled tail. It is highly collectable piece today and fitted with a secure pin and safety catch.
