This fabulous antique Victorian Scottish Silver Agate brooch Circa 1860.
Scottish jewellery was made popular by Queen Victoria as it became a souvenir of her trips to Scotland. From the mid 1800's Queen Victoria frequented Scotland and her Scottish Castle Balmoral.
Beautiful plaid Agates chase around the circular brooch all set in Sterling Silver.
Agate is a strong mineral sometimes known as the earth rainbow for it’s patterned texture that shows varying colours the earth can produce.
Each Agate is unique with beautiful natural colouring and polished to perfection.
Looks fabulous when worn, a unique collectable piece.
