This fabulous Victorian Sterling Silver Scottish Agate bracelet is Circa 1860.

Scottish jewellery was made popular by Queen Victoria as it became a souvenir of her trips to Scotland.

From the mid 1800's Queen Victoria frequented Scotland and her Scottish Castle Balmoral.

The bracelet is adorned with beautiful fancy hand cut Agates which are polished to perfection with ornate decoration leading to a fancy padlock.

Agate is a strong mineral sometimes known as the earth rainbow for it’s patterned texture that shows varying colours the earth can produce.

The padlock is detachable and set with a striking red Cornelian Agate.

On the reverse of the Padlock is a small locket set within a lovely engraved gallery.

All set in Sterling Silver and complete with safety chain.

This is a very collectable piece of jewellery from the Scottish collection.

Looks fabulous when worn, a beautiful and unique find.

Weighs 23.6 grams.

The padlock measures 19mm across x 29mm down.

Will fit a 6.5 inch wrist.

Excellent all round condition.
