This fabulous antique Scottish Scent bottle pendant is from the Victorian era, Circa 1860.
Scent bottles gained in popularity during the Victorian era and were used to hide a small vile of perfume inside for the wearer to use when needed.
The round bottle features a colourful display of polished Agates on the front and back with a lovely Agate top that still pops open on its hinge.
Agate has been nicknamed the earth rainbow for it’s patterned texture that shows varying colours the earth can produce. Each Agate is unique with beautiful natural colouring and polished to perfection.
The piece is all Silver and suspended from a chain that can be attached to a necklace.
