This beautiful antique Victorian Scottish Agate bracelet is Circa 1860.
Scottish jewellery was made popular by Queen Victoria as it became a souvenir of her frequent trips to Scotland and her Scottish Castle Balmoral from the mid 1800s.
The wonderful bracelet is adorned with six stunning barrel Agates set in Silver links.
Agate is a strong mineral sometimes known as the earth rainbow for it’s patterned texture that shows varying colours the earth can produce.
Each Agate is unique with beautiful natural colouring and polished to perfection.
One of the Agate’s has a small fault on one side but this is minimal wear for a piece of this age.
This is a truly special Scottish piece, steeped in Victorian history and looks fabulous when worn!
