This fabulous antique Yellow Gold Malachite bracelet is genuine Victorian Circa 1880.
Scottish jewellery was made popular by Queen Victoria as it became a souvenir of her trips to Scotland. From the mid 1800's Queen Victoria frequented Scotland and her Scottish Castle Balmoral.
The bracelet is set with wonderful green Malachite’s, beautifully cut in unique shapes and sizes.
Malachite means Mallow-green stone, due to its resemblance to the leaves of the Mallow plant. The stone radiates the rich green allure of nature displaying the beauty of plants and trees within it’s patterned surface.
The bracelet has been tested as high carat Yellow Gold which has turned a rosy hue with age.
Complete with a secure clasp and safety chain too.
Purchased in London and steeped in Victorian history. The bracelet looks beautiful when worn, a truly unique Scottish piece that deserves to be treasured.
