A unique Victorian Scottish brooch in a wonderful interweaving knot design with floral engraved artistry and polished inlaid Agates.
Scottish jewellery was made popular by Queen Victoria as it became a souvenir of her frequent trips to Scotland and her Scottish Castle Balmoral from the mid-1800s.
Each Agate is unique and boasts various earthy colours and patterned layers which are naturally formed, earning it the appropriate nickname ‘The Earth Rainbow’.
The piece is modelled in Silver and fitted with a strong pin. It is steeped in history and a great talking piece.
