An exquisite antique Victorian bangle dated 1882 and engraved with beautiful patterned artistry at the front with an image of two swallows, one perched in a tree and the other swooping down to meet it.
Swallows are known to mate for life and therefore symbolise love and faithfulness. The image of a swallow was popular during the Victorian era and was often gifted as a romantic token.
The bangle is robust and fashioned in Sterling Silver with a secure clasp that is also fitted with a safety chain. The piece is steeped in history and is a wonderful statement piece.
