This fabulous 9ct Yellow Gold Suffragette pendant brooch is beautiful, Circa 1900.
Suffragettes liked to be depicted as feminine, their jewellery was chosen to counter the stereotypes put forward by opponents that they were mannish or shrieking! Green is for give, white is for women and violet is for votes.
The pendant brooch boasts a large central Amethyst which is 3.5ct in size alone.
Amethyst has been highly esteemed throughout the ages for its stunning beauty and legendary powers to stimulate, and soothe, the mind and emotions.
The beautiful floral pendant displays pristine Victorian workmanship and decorated with Pearls and a Peridot dropper.
