This fabulous Victorian 18ct Gold Suffragette ring is Circa 1900.
Suffragettes liked to be depicted as feminine, their jewellery popularly consisted of violet, green and white colours which were chosen to counter the stereotypes put forward by opponents that they were mannish or shrieking.
The ring is set with a lovely 0.25ct violet Amethyst in the centre, with two rich green Peridots, and sparkling old cut Diamonds nestled in-between, finishing with more Amethysts at either side.
Green is for Give, white is for Women and violet is for Votes.
