A splendid antique Victorian Suffragette ring showcasing a line of Peridots, Pearls and a central Amethyst which is 0.30ct.
Suffragette jewellery was worn to show one’s allegiance to the women’s Suffragette movement in the early 20th century and popularly consisted of Violet, Green and White stones which carried the message: Green for Give, white for Women and violet for Votes!
The stones are claw set in a Silver gallery and fitted to a 9ct Yellow Gold band that has developed a lovely rosy hue with age. It is very elegant and looks beautiful on the finger.
