A lovely pair of antique Victorian earrings depicting two swallows in flight. Both are decorated with sparkling white Paste Stones across the body, tail and wings with a blue Paste eye and black beak.
Swallows are known to mate for life and therefore symbolise love and faithfulness. The image of a swallow was popular during the Victorian era and was often gifted as a romantic token.
Each earring is modelled in Silver with a layer of Rose Gold highlighted on the tail feathers. They’re fitted with secure screw back fittings and look wonderful swooping from each ear.
