A spectacular antique Victorian ring from the early 19th Century featuring an elongated, navette gallery pave set with a beautiful array of green and blue turquoise and twinkling rose cut diamonds in raised silver settings on top (Centre approx. 0.22ct).
Turquoise is desired for its calming blue/ green colouring and was named “Fayruz” in Turkey which translates to “Lucky stone”. It has long been believed to bring happiness, clarity and good fortune, making it a popular gift exchanged between friends and loved ones.
The domed gallery is modelled in 18ct gold and possibly converted from an old brooch with a new 18ct band at the back detailed with ornate patterning. It’s a magnificent and distinct statement piece like no other and is sure to catch the eye.
