A regal Art Deco amethyst diamond cluster ring from the early 20th Century, adorned with a deep-purple emerald cut amethyst in the centre (approx. 3ct), framed by twinkling single cut diamonds around the border (approx. 0.50ct).
Amethyst is the birthstone of February and is considered a stone of protection, clarity and tranquillity. Its deep violet colouring has been highly esteemed throughout history, adorning regal jewellery all around the world, from ancient Egypt to the British crown jewels.
The stones are set securely in a tiered platinum gallery, with an 18ct yellow gold back and band. It’s a striking cluster ring, boasting a luxurious natural amethyst on top.
