Product Details
An outstanding Art Deco aquamarine cocktail ring, exhibiting an enormous natural emerald cut aquamarine, weighing an impressive 28.45 carats. It has a crystal-clear blue hue and neat, linear facets that flicker beautifully in the light and is held in a substantial, 18ct white gold four-prong mount, with open sides.
Aquamarine is the birthstone of March. It derives its name from its tranquil, clear blue/ green colouring that emulates the beauty of a tropical ocean or icy glacial waters. It was once believed to be the treasure of Mermaids and is said to bring happiness, good fortune and eternal youth.
This is an extravagant Art Deco statement ring, dating to the early 20th Century, and boasts a breath-taking aquamarine on top that was made to be seen.
