This classic Egyptian Revival snake bangle dates to the glamorous Art Deco era, capturing the wave of “Egyptomania” that swept the world following the discovery of Tutankhamun’s tomb in the 1920s. The smooth, coiled band is formed from an ingenious interwoven gold-tone mesh, beautifully mimicking snakeskin, and wrapped around a durable steel core that allows it to expand for a comfortable fit. It is finished with an ornate serpent head and tail, intricately detailed with scale punchwork, hallmarks of the bold, stylised design of the period.
