Product Details
This outstanding Art Deco all Platinum ring boasts an approx. 8ct Black Opal, with a burning iridescent fire within. Flashes of ethereal green and bright blue burn within the stone, flowing as it moves like the Aurora Borealis, also known as the Northern Lights.
This beautiful stone is one of the most highly prized of its kind. The dark colouration means that the flashes of brightness from within are much more stark and radiant than they are in lesser opals.
The gallery and shank have been crafted in Platinum, with approx.0.20ct of sparkling old cut Diamonds arranged in lines across the beautifully crafted shoulders. Both the Opal and the shank have taken some wear over the years, but should be easily resolved with a professional polish, which we are happy to arrange after purchase.
This is a truly remarkable and utterly unique piece of fine jewellery, and a fitting setting for one of the most awe inspiring of precious stones on the face of the earth.
We recommend you insure for £17,000. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
