Product Details
A magnificent Art Deco inspired cluster ring adorned with a deep indigo-blue tanzanite which is AAAA grade and weighs approx. 2.1ct. The stone is bezel set in the centre of a frame of ten brilliant cut diamonds with two emerald cuts on each shoulder. They are all extremely bright with excellent VS1 clarity – I colour and total to approx. 1.7ct.
Unlike other popular gemstones, Tanzanite was not discovered until the late 1960s when a group of Maasai herders stumbled upon the blue stones by chance in the hills of Tanzania. They were first believed to be sapphires but later identified as a variety of blue “zoisite” and the first of its kind. Its rarity and intense indigo-blue colouring have made it the most celebrated gem of the 20th century and is highly sought after today.
The gallery is all 18ct white gold and has a classic Deco design, with geometric shapes and milgrain edging. It would make a magnificent engagement ring that is sure to dazzle and impress.
