This fabulous all Platinum French brooch is genuine Edwardian, Circa 1910.
The Brooch is hand made and set with Diamonds and a trilogy of best cut natural blue Sapphires.
Sapphire is the symbol of feelings of sympathy, harmony friendship and loyalty, everything that is constant and reliable. Sapphire was called the "stone of destiny”, they are said to bring peace and harmony to the wearer and also bring financial rewards.
There are 4ct of Sapphires and 4ct of Diamonds in total.
The larger Diamonds are 0.50ct each alone and - SI 1 2 H colour.
Diamond is the hardest mineral on Earth and this combined with its exceptional lustre and brilliant fire has made it the most highly prized of all gems.
The brooch is complete with the original box made by French makers J.Chaumet.
Chaumet was founded in 1780 and is a high-end jeweller based in Paris. Chaumet controls all the design and production processes of it’s pieces created by the House’s specialist designers.
The brooch is set in Platinum and displays pristine French workmanship.
Looks fabulous when worn, a unique collectable piece.
Weighs 8.2 grams.
Measures 65mm across x 13mm down.
