An imposing amethyst cocktail ring, crowned with a large oval cut amethyst with a lavender hue, weighing approx. 8.5 carats. It’s claw set in a large silver gallery, with an 18ct gold gilt band at the back and is ringed by sparkling cubic zirconia around the outside and scrolling, foliate motifs around the under gallery.
Amethyst is the birthstone of February and is considered a stone of protection, clarity and tranquillity. Its deep purple/ violet colouring has been highly esteemed throughout history, adorning regal jewellery all around the world, from ancient Egypt to the British crown jewels.
