A fabulous Edwardian style bumble bee brooch decorated with sparkling brilliant cut diamonds, a rose cut blue sapphire in the centre (approx. 0.23ct), a line of rubies across the abdomen and further cabochon ruby eyes at the head (approx. 1.30ct total).
The diamonds have been skilfully pave set across the body and wings and have superb SI2 clarity – H/I colour. They total to approx. 4ct with the largest three weighing 0.20ct on the head and wingtips.
It’s crafted in silver and backed in 18ct gold on the reverse with fine milgrain detailing across the wings and abdomen. It would look stunning pinned to a lapel and boasts a gorgeous collection of natural gemstones.
