A gorgeous pair of emerald diamond cluster earrings, modelled in 18ct white/ yellow gold. The central oval cut emeralds have a vivid deep-green hue and weigh approx. 0.60ct each. They’re bezel set in a scalloped flower gallery, with pierced sides and haloed by ten bright brilliant cut diamonds, totalling approx. 1ct across both.
Emerald is the birthstone of May. The Romans considered it to be the sacred stone of the goddess Venus and it was said to preserve love and provide hope. Its natural green colouring also makes it a stone of springtime and is often associated with eternal love and faithfulness.
These are a glamorous pair of Edwardian-inspired cluster earrings, set with a lovely contrast of precious gems at the front, with 18ct butterfly studs at the back.
We recommend you insure for £3,000. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
