A fabulous little bee brooch made in the Edwardian style with enchanting cabochon moonstones and twinkling diamonds decorated across the body and wings.
Insect jewellery grew in popularity at the turn of the 20th Century due to a renewed love of the natural world following the vast urbanisation of the country and were often decorated with colourful gemstones to enhance their beauty and value.
It’s fashioned in silver and 18ct gold with milgrain detailing around the edges. It’s very pretty and secured with a snap lock catch on the back.
