A fabulous Art Nouveau-inspired pendant, decorated with a rainbow of cultured opal cabochons across an open-work gallery, with elegant, foliate metalwork. A ghostly cabochon moonstone also sits at its heart, exhibiting a silvery-blue glow (approx. 0.80ct) and is accompanied by a pear cut amethyst dropper hanging from the bottom (approx. 0.25ct).
The enchanting Moonstone derives its name from the stone’s ethereal, luminescent light that was once believed to be moonlight in solid form. In Greek mythology they were associated with Selene, the feminine moon Goddess and were said to guide you on the path to love, wisdom and new beginnings.
This Art Nouveau-style pendant is crafted expertly in sterling silver and has been given an 18ct yellow gold gilt finish. It would make a beautiful gift for a loved one and is accompanied by a fine gold gilt chain to display it on.
