Details
A fabulous Edwardian-inspired opal pendant necklace, decorated with a colourful collection of cultured opal cabochons, with blue, green, purple, and orange embers glittering on the surface (approx. 2.4ct total). The open-work pendant is fashioned in sterling silver, gilded in a sunny 18ct yellow gold and features graceful, curved motifs that form the shape of a heart, with a sweet little dropper dangling from the bottom.
Opal is the birthstone of October and is considered a stone of luck, creativity, and passion. Its enchanting spectrum of colours and ethereal quality, known as “opalescence”, flow across the surface of the stone as if alive and evoke the natural beauty of a fractured rainbow or the Aurora Borealis dancing against the night sky.
This wonderful cultured opal pendant necklace would make a beautiful gift for a loved one and is accompanied by a fine 18ct gold gilt chain to display it on.
