Details
A fabulous Suffragette-inspired ring claw set with two oval cut violet amethysts, two green peridots (approx. 0.45ct each) and a central white cultured pearl. It’s fashioned in silver and gilded in warm 18ct yellow gold, with ornate foliate engraving down each shoulder.
Jewellery featuring green, violet, and white was widely worn to show support for the Women’s Social and Political Union (WSPU), a key force in the UK’s suffrage movement in the early 1900s. These colours symbolised the movement’s core values, violet for loyalty, white for purity, and green for hope, and were sometimes used to represent the slogan “Give Women Votes!”
This striking Suffragette tribute gemstone ring celebrates the historic fight for women’s rights, with vibrant, contrasting gemstones on top that look wonderful crowning the finger.
