Radiating a regal blue beauty, this stunning Edwardian-inspired tanzanite diamond cluster ring is truly something special! A glistening deep-blue cushion cut tanzanite is claw set at its heart, weighing an impressive 5.94 carats, contrasted against a square frame of sixteen dazzling brilliant cut diamonds, with two smaller diamonds gracing each shoulder. They all have excellent SI1 clarity – H colour and the larger stones weigh approx. 0.10ct each, bringing the total to 1.61 carats.
Incredibly, Tanzanite remained undiscovered until the late 1960s, when a group of Maasai herders stumbled upon the mysterious blue gems by chance in the hills of Tanzania. They were later identified to be a new and rare form of blue “Zoisite”, with an intense indigo-blue hue that became highly sought after across the globe and named “Tanzanite” by Tiffany & Co. to highlight its unique origin.
This bold tanzanite cluster ring is fashioned in a bright 18ct white gold and features milgrain shoulders, a pierced under gallery and grooved band at the back, complete with the verified stone weights within.
