This fabulous bee ring is claw set with a green peridot head and violet amethyst abdomen. They’re both approx. 0.75ct each with pearl studded wings on either side.
The colours of each stone pay tribute to the women’s Suffrage movement which took place in the early 20th century and popularly consisted of Violet, Green and White stones which highlighted their key virtues: Violet for Royalty, White for Purity and Green for Hope, and also formed the phrase “Give Women Votes!”
The piece is fashioned in silver and has been gilded in 18ct yellow gold. It’s a charming ring with a colourful collection of gems.
