Details
This beautiful 9ct gold ring is claw-set with three deep-violet amethysts and two lime-green peridots, arranged in an elegant alternating pattern across the front. Each stone weighs approx. 0.40ct, their contrasting hues complementing one another with striking effect.
The combination of these gemstone colours was historically associated with the women’s Suffrage movement in the early 20th century. Often accompanied by a white stone, the palette carried symbolic meaning: violet for loyalty, white for purity, and green for hope - or, more simply, “Give Women Votes.”
A striking and meaningful piece, it features clear Birmingham hallmarks within the shank, and showcases a beautiful arrangement of natural gemstones that fan gracefully across the top of the finger.
