Paste is a heavy, very transparent flint glass that stimulates the fire and brilliance of gemstones, the Romans in particular were very skilful in the production of coloured glass Pastes.
The ring is set in 18ct Yellow Gold with a closed backed gallery, this is typical of the Georgian Era.
The stone is set in Silver.
Lovely detailed engraving can be seen round the shank, this ring looks beautiful when worn, elegant and stylish.
