A gorgeous pair of Georgian cut steel Earrings steeped in English History.
Cut steel jewellery consists of tiny faceted and polished steel studs riveted to one or more metal bases.
Jewellery made of cut steel came into fashion in the mid 1700's and in its early days up to 15 facets were cut onto the studs.
These cut steel studs sparkle and glisten like diamonds with immense lustre and brilliance captivating the allure of nature's beauty.
The cut steel is set in silver with yellow gold wires.
They weigh 4.3 grams.
In very good condition they look fabulous when worn.
The dimensions are 20mm across and 25mm down - that's just over 3/4 of an inch by just over 1 inch, including wires.
