A striking Georgian-inspired paste solitaire ring adorned with a bright cushion-cut paste stone, collet-set in a blocky, closed-back silver gallery with ornate engraving around the edge. It joins a 15ct gold band at the back, with split Fleur-de-Lis shoulders.

Paste is a heavy, transparent flint glass that has been used since ancient times to simulate the beauty of gemstones. The art of cutting paste takes expert craftsmanship and the highest quality stones are often able to replicate the cut, colour and sparkle of natural gems to near perfection.
