Details
This exquisite Georgian-revival diamond cluster ring is a true love letter to early 19th-century craftsmanship. At its centre rests a repurposed old pear-cut Fancy diamond of approx. 0.35 carats, radiating the subtle warmth and effervescent glow of a fine glass of champagne. In its original antique setting, such a stone would have symbolised a “tear of joy,” presented to a bride-to-be as a token of love and devotion.
The central antique diamond, along with the surrounding halo of old mine-cut stones total approx. 0.60 carats and have been expertly hand-cut to dance softly beside candlelight. They have been thoughtfully re-set within a new silver scalloped gallery, which flows seamlessly into a floral-chased 18ct yellow gold band, in keeping with the Rococo-style of the period.
A treasure for the true romantic, this diamond cluster ring captures the enduring charm of the past for a new generation. Whether chosen as a distinctive antique-style engagement ring or a signature “new heirloom”, it is designed to be cherished for generations, with genuine old diamonds that have already captivated for over a century.
We recommend you insure this diamond cluster ring for £3,300. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
