A grand Memento Mori inspired band ring consisting of eight skulls modelled in solid silver and gilded in 18ct yellow gold.
Such macabre imagery was common in Memento Mori jewellery, which literally translates as “Remember you will die”. The morbid themes were not a celebration of death, rather a reminder to live your life well.
It’s a characterful piece and has a good solid weight to it.
