An exquisite Georgian inspired trilogy ring showcasing a striking oval cut sapphire in the centre with a vivid electric-blue hue, flanked by old rose cut diamonds on either side.
All the stones have been tested as natural and are detailed in an accompanying gem certification card that also states the sapphire weighs approx. 3ct and the diamonds have superb SI clarity – H/I colour (approx. 0.20ct each).
Sapphire is the birthstone of September. The blue variety is considered a stone of truth, wisdom and protection and has long been a favourite of kings and royalty, adored for its royal blue colouring which was considered a reflection of the sky and the heavens, making it divine.
The sapphire is collet set in a closed-back 18ct gold gallery with silver claw settings on either side for the diamonds. It beautifully emulates the Georgian style and is engraved with ornate pattering around the outer band and a scaly print on the back of the gallery.
It would make a marvellous gift for a loved one with a trilogy of stones representing past, present and future or those three little words – “I love you”.
