This wonderful lily pad brooch features a lovely little frog resting on top crafted in 18ct White Gold and encrusted with sparkling Paste Stones across the back with emerald green Paste eyes.
Frog pieces were popular in Victorian jewellery with the ‘Romantic’ period producing decorative animal pieces symbolising Queen Victoria’s sentimental side.
The lily pad is crafted in 18ct Yellow Gold with beautiful green Enamel artistry on the front and a secure pin and safety catch on the reverse. It is a beautiful collector’s item and perfect for anyone who loves these adorable amphibians.
