A fabulous Victorian inspired acrostic charm necklace featuring five dazzling heart charms encrusted with glistening rose cut diamonds (approx. 5ct total) with an amethyst, diamond, opal, ruby and emerald bezel set in the centre, forming the acronym “ADORE”.
Acrostic jewellery was at the height of popularity during the Victorian era and was used to express a secret, romantic message to a loved one spelt out in gemstones during a time when there were strict rules and restrictions laid out by parents during a couple’s courtship.
The hearts are fashioned in silver/ 9ct gold and suspended from a fine 9ct chain. It’s very pretty and would make the perfect gift for the one you adore most.
