A sweet pair of Victorian-style acrostic stud earrings displaying a gorgeous cluster of coloured gems that spell the word “DEAREST” with each first letter – Diamond, Emerald, Amethyst, Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire, Tourmaline.

The Victorians loved romance and Acrostic jewellery was a popular way to express secret, romantic messages spelt out in gemstones to their beloved during a time when there were strict rules and restrictions surrounding a couple’s courtship.

The pair is fashioned in silver, gilded in 18ct yellow gold with pretty heart motifs in between each gemstone. They’d make a wonderful gift for a loved one and revive an old Victorian tradition that’s lost none of its charm.
