Details
Burning with a fiery heart, this striking 9ct gold opal diamond cluster ring is adorned with an alluring oval cut fire opal, alight with a blazing blood-orange hue, reminiscent of flickering fire or a blazing sunset. It weighs approx. 2 carats and is claw set within a halo of twinkling diamonds.
Fire Opals are formed in ancient volcanic rock cavities and are unlike any other variety of opal, distinct for their semi-transparent appearance and flaming orange or red hue that gives them their name. Most originate from Mexico and were worshipped by the ancient Aztecs who believed the stone was so beautiful it could have only been made in paradise.
This beautiful fire opal diamond cluster ring is stamped with Birmingham hallmarks within the band, dating to 1991 and would make a special gift or engagement ring for your loved one, with the flaming centre stone, beautifully representing passion and eternal love.
We recommend you insure for £1,600. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
