A gorgeous Art Nouveau style butterfly ring adorned with four colourful cabochon cultured opals across the wings (approx. 0.22ct each) and a smaller stone dotted in the centre (approx. 0.90ct total).
Opals display a magical rainbow of vibrant colours that shimmer and intensify with the light. Ethereal greens, pinks and blues flow and dance across the surface of the stone, evoking the beauty of planet earth or the aurora borealis with a burning orange sunset glowing behind.
The butterfly has a fabulous open-work design, with scrolling antenna and curved, leaf-shaped wings all fashioned in silver and gilded in 18ct yellow gold. It’s very pretty and sits flat with the wings wrapping gently around the finger.
