A magnificent mid-century cocktail ring boasting a large, oval cut amethyst solitaire weighing approx. 10 carats. It has a soft, violet hue with expertly cut facets that glisten beautifully as they catch the light. 

Amethyst is the birthstone of February. It’s considered a stone of protection, clarity and tranquillity and has been highly esteemed throughout the ages for its stunning beauty and deep purple colouring which has adorned regal jewellery all around the world, from ancient Egypt to the British crown jewels. 

It’s a striking statement piece with the stone held in a fabulous 14ct gold, open-work mount that crowns it high atop the finger.
