Details
A spectacular mid-century amethyst and diamond halo cluster ring, beautifully crafted in two-tone 18ct gold. The piece showcases a pierced coronet mount and distinctive arrow-shaped shoulders that draw the eye to a magnificent oval-cut natural amethyst at its centre, weighing approx. 2.20 carats. It displays a vibrant deep violet hue, contrasted by a sparkling halo of sixteen single-cut diamonds, with SI 1 clarity – H colour, approx. 0.48ct total.
Rich in romantic symbolism, amethyst has long been associated with Saint Valentine and represents fidelity and protection. The sparkling diamond halo symbolises eternal love and devotion, while the distinctive arrow-shaped shoulders evoke Cupid's arrow, making this a deeply meaningful token of affection.
The ring remains in excellent condition to this day and would make a regal vintage statement ring or a wonderful gift for a loved one, with a gorgeous collection of natural gems crowned on top.
