Details
Boasting an enormous oval cut amethyst, this spectacular mid-Century cocktail ring was made to be seen! The amethyst weighs approx. 16 carats and has a luxurious, deep purple hue, flanked by white gold shoulder accents, edged with milgrain and dotted with three sparkling old mine cut diamonds totalling approx. 0.30ct total.
Amethyst is the birthstone of February and the stone of Saint Valentine. Its deep purple-violet hue has been a favourite of royalty throughout history and contrasts beautifully with the bright, scintillating sparkle of diamonds, which together symbolise romance, love and loyalty.
The gallery is modelled in solid 18ct gold with beautiful leaves and scrolled motifs engraved across the sides and shoulders with a secure claw mount for the principal stone that crowns it high and proud atop the finger for all to see. It’s a magnificent statement piece, exhibiting a breathtaking amethyst that is fit for a Queen.
We recommend you insure for £2,300. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
