Each earring is tension set with a polished cabochon amethyst and a smaller square cut amethyst, exhibiting luxurious deep-purple hues that contrast beautifully against a curvaceous 18ct yellow gold frame, with a sleek hook embellishment at the end that curls under the earlobe when worn. The pair have developed a lovely smoothness and patina over time and are held by butterfly studs at the back.
