This vintage aquamarine ring is a spectacular vintage cocktail ring built around a glistening oval cut aquamarine in the centre exhibiting a clear blue hue with flashes of green. It weighs approx. 10 carats and is haloed by twenty sparkling brilliant cut diamonds around the border totalling approx. 1.6ct with superb SI 1 clarity – H colour.
Aquamarine is the birthstone of March. It derives its name from its tranquil, clear blue/ green colouring that emulates the beauty of a tropical ocean or icy glacial waters. It was once believed to be the treasure of Mermaids and is said to bring happiness, good fortune and eternal youth.
The stones in this vintage aquamarine ring are all bezel set in a 14ct gold gallery with a scalloped border and pierced under gallery creating a fabulous bed for the stones to rest on. The vintage aquamarine ring is a stunning statement ring that is sure to turn heads.
