A spectacular pair of vintage flower earrings crowned with two large aquamarines in the centre. They weigh approx. 10ct each and have a calming icy blue hue, with flashes of green.
Aquamarine derives its name from its calming, clear blue/ green colouring that emulates the beauty of a tropical ocean or icy glacial waters. It was once believed to be the treasure of Mermaids and is said to bring happiness, good fortune and eternal youth.
The earrings are fashioned in solid 18ct gold with ornate, open-work petals, dotted with twenty twinkling diamonds (approx. 1ct total) and fitted with strong clips at the back.
They’re an extravagant and substantial pair, boasting two mouth-watering natural aquas that glisten like a clear tropical ocean when they catch the light.
We recommend you insure for £5,000. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
