This glorious statement ring exhibits a magnificent cushion cut Ceylon sapphire weighed at 3.49 carats. It has a striking blue hue which is all natural and untreated and is centred in the middle of a diamond shaped face with twelve twinkling rose cut diamonds around the border (approx. 0.80ct total).
The Sri-Lankan sapphire, or “Ceylon” sapphire has been a favourite of kings and royalty throughout history and was regarded as a stone of truth, wisdom and strength. It’s valued for its striking royal blue colouring which tends to be brighter and more vibrant than most other sapphires.
The gallery and stones have been preserved from an antique ring (Circa 1900) and fitted atop a fabulous new 18ct gold band, detailed to depict loops of coiled rope.
It’s a stunning statement piece and boasts a breath-taking sapphire that is complete with a G.C.S certification card which verifies its exceptional quality.
